LCA Advanced Red Aquarium Plant Fertiliser is made in Australia by Liverpool Creek Aquariums. It's a liquid supplement for light-loving red plants, formulated to bring out deep crimson, pink, and orange colour.

Unlike general all-in-one fertilisers, Advanced Red uses a specialised mix of micro and macro nutrients with a very low nitrate level. Limiting nitrate while supplying iron, potassium, and trace elements helps draw out red colour without feeding green algae.

Tank requirements

It can be used with most aquarium plants, but it is best suited to high-tech tanks with:

• High-intensity, full-spectrum LED lighting
• Pressurised CO2 injection
• Nutrient-rich aquasoil or root tabs

Dosing and instructions

Always double check dosage & directions on product packaging.

• Standard dose: Add 2 pumps (4 ml) per 100 litres of tank water, 3 times per week.
• Maintenance: Do a 30–50% water change each week to reset nutrients and prevent build-up.
• Tip: If red plants still grow green, check that the light has a strong red spectrum and that CO2 is stable and adequate.
