Blonde Lipstick (Naso) Tang

The Blonde Lipstick Tang is the Indian Ocean variant of the Naso lituratus, reaching a Max Size of 45 cm. It is virtually identical to its cousin but is distinguished by its brilliant yellow (blonde) dorsal fin, which provides a striking contrast against its sleek grey body. It retains the same bright orange "lipstick" and tail spines. This fish is highly personable and often becomes one of the tamest fish in a large aquarium. Because of their size and speed, they should only be housed in very large systems where they have ample room to graze and swim without stress.
