Aqua Ultraviolet Twist 57-Watt

The Aqua Ultraviolet Twist 57-Watt is a heavy-duty, high-intensity UV sterilizer built for large display aquariums, multi-tank frag systems, and commercial outdoor Koi ponds. Drawing 0.85 Amps, its heavy-duty lamp assembly delivers high germicidal exposure, ensuring that bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa are completely neutralized on a single pass—even at high flow rates.

Like the 25W variant, the 57W features fully adjustable Twist connection unions for easy plumbing alignment. It utilizes a long, premium quartz glass sleeve to separate the high-output lamp from direct water contact, maximizing UV-C transmission across its operational life.

• Freshwater Sizing: Controls heavy green-water algae blooms in outdoor ponds up to 6,000 gallons, or provides high-level biological sterilization for large indoor freshwater systems from 1,500 to 3,000 gallons.

• Saltwater Sizing: Designed for large marine and predatory fish systems up to 355 gallons, helping to keep water crystal clear and prevent widespread disease outbreaks.

• Flow Rate Parameters:

  • Algae & Green Water Control (Max Flow): 3,200 GPH

  • Protozoa & Disease Control (Min Flow): 1,066 GPH

• Operational Requirement: Due to the heat output of the 57-Watt lamp, this unit must be connected to a continuous water line. The pump must always be running when the sterilizer is powered on to keep the internal housing cool.
