Red Line Cleaner Shrimp (Lysmata amboinensis)

The Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, or Red Line Cleaner, is one of the most beloved and interactive invertebrates in the entire marine hobby. Flaunting a brilliant amber body with a bold white stripe down its back bordered by two stark red bands, this bold shrimp sets up a dedicated "cleaning station" on the reef. It will actively wave its long white antennae to invite fish over, diligently picking off parasites, dead skin, and loose scales from willing tankmates—and it will often comfortably clean its owner's fingertips during tank maintenance!
