The Red Scooter Dragonet, frequently referred to as the Red Scooter Blenny, is a bottom-dwelling gem celebrated for its mottled red, tan, and white camouflage patterns and large, fan-like dorsal fin. These gentle, deliberate movers hop along the sand bed and live rock work constantly searching for micro-fauna. Like seahorses and mandarin dragonets, they are specialized hunters that depend on a continuous supply of live copepods and amphipods to stay healthy. They thrive best in well-established reef aquariums equipped with an active refugium and mature live rock formations.
