EcoTech Marine Radion Gen 6 XR15

The EcoTech Marine Radion Gen 6 XR15 is a premium, compact smart LED lighting platform engineered specifically for small to medium reef aquariums. The 6th generation platform introduces the advanced HEI2 (Hybrid Hemispherically Edge Illuminating) optical system. By combining a redesigned primary LED lens with a contoured secondary optic, the light achieves an ultra-wide 126.3-degree spread (a significant jump from the 110.5 degrees found on the previous Gen 5 generation). This ultra-wide beam pattern wraps light efficiently around corals to minimize sharp undershadowing while bouncing energy off the side glass walls for highly uniform PAR distribution.

The Gen 6 cluster incorporates 395nm near-UV diodes to push deeper into the true ultraviolet range, triggering maximum coral fluorescence. The single-cluster fixture draws a maximum of 95 Watts from the wall and features integrated active cooling with a top-mounted fan. Native smart control is handled wirelessly via the Mobius mobile app over Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, and it seamlessly integrates into Neptune Systems Apex ecosystems using the optional MXM communication bridge.

The XR15 Gen 6 platform is split into two distinct models tailored to specific color preferences: the XR15 G6 Pro (which provides a full-spectrum daylight balance akin to traditional metal halide configurations) and the XR15 G6 Blue (which strips away the greens and concentrates power entirely into the heavy actinic blue spectrum).
