A Color-Changing Deionization (DI) Resin Cartridge is the final purification stage in an RO/DI system. It strips out the remaining dissolved solids left behind by the reverse osmosis membrane to produce 100% pure, 0 TDS water for reef aquariums or high-tech aquascapes.
The cartridge contains a mixed bed of positive (Cation) and negative (Anion) nuclear-grade resins. An embedded pH-indicator dye changes color as the resin becomes saturated, giving you a clear visual indicator of when the media is spent.
