Aquaforest Zeo Mix

Product overview

Aquaforest Zeo Mix is a zeolite blend for marine tanks and ultra-low nutrient systems (ULNS). It takes up ammonia and ammonium at the start of the nitrogen cycle, so less of that waste is left to become nitrate.

It also binds phenols, organic waste, and some heavy metals. The mix is processed so it does not strip potassium. Use it in a fluidised reactor or a filter bag.

Water and system compatibility

• Water: Marine and reef. Suited to ULNS and SPS or LPS tanks. Not for freshwater.
• System: Reactor or filter bag on the display or sump. Adsorption is strong, so watch nutrient levels on a reef. A sudden drop can stress corals.

Directions

Use 100–500 ml of media per 100 L of tank water. Run 300–500 L/h through the bed. Replace every 6 weeks.
