Zebra Loach (Botia striata)

Overview

For customers who want a highly effective snail-eating loach but have a smaller community tank, the Zebra Loach is the ultimate recommendation. They are significantly smaller and much more peaceful than YoYo or Clown Loaches. They feature a striking, intricate pattern of dozens of thin, vertical greenish-black and golden-yellow stripes covering their entire body from snout to tail. They are continuous, peaceful scavengers that spend their day exploring the bottom levels of the aquarium. Keeping them in a group of 4 or more gives them the confidence to stay active and visible during daylight hours.
