The Chihiros WRGB II is a high-output, full-spectrum LED lighting system designed specifically for high-energy freshwater planted aquariums. Built into a durable, hard-anodized black aluminum alloy housing, the fixture features an advanced array of high-intensity 3-in-1 RGB (Red, Green, Blue) LED chips. Unlike standard white LEDs, this configuration completely separates the primary color bands, allowing you to fine-tune the output to maximize plant photosynthesis—particularly for demanding red stem plants—while making the natural colors of your fish and shrimp look incredibly vibrant.
The WRGB II features a built-in Bluetooth controller integrated directly into the light housing. Out of the box, it connects natively to the My Chihiros mobile app on iOS and Android devices, eliminating the need for bulky external inline dimmers or mechanical wall timers. Through the app's dashboard, you can individually adjust the Red, Green, and Blue channels from 1% to 100% to customize the color spectrum, as well as set a 24-hour schedule with automated, natural sunrise and sunset transitions.
Compared to the thinner Slim version, the standard WRGB II has a much thicker profile and pulls roughly 40% to 50% more power. This higher energy output delivers massive Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) values that easily penetrate deep water columns. It is an ideal lighting system for deep tanks or layouts featuring demanding carpet plants like Glossostigma, Dwarf Baby Tears, and Mini Hairgrass. The fixture includes adjustable metal sliding legs that mount securely over rimless glass panels up to 10mm thick.
