Overview
If your customers love the look of a Tiger Barb but have a peaceful community tank with sensitive tank mates, the Five-Band Barb is the ultimate alternative. Though they look incredibly similar with their golden bodies and vertical black bands, Pentazona Barbs possess a completely gentle, timid nature and lack the aggressive fin-nipping habits of Tiger Barbs. They feature five distinct bands and a gorgeous, iridescent reddish sheen. They are a schooling species that feels most secure when surrounded by dense live plants and floating vegetation.
