Overview
The Emerald Dwarf Rasbora is a visually stunning nano fish featuring a unique, tiger-like pattern of deep emerald-blue vertical bars over a pinkish-gold body, topped off with a distinct dark spot at the base of the tail. While they look like miniature cichlids, they are actually peaceful cyprinids. They can be a bit shy initially, but keeping them in groups of 10 or more in a well-sheltered, planted tank will give them the confidence to stay out in the open. Unlike many other rasboras, they prefer slightly harder, alkaline water conditions.
