Description
SAS (Serious About Shrimp) is an Australian-made range of foods and a mineral treatment for freshwater shrimp. Foods are made to break down slowly so the colony can graze without clouding the water.
Spectrum range
- Spectrum Series, 30 g: Colour foods in Spectrum Blue, Spectrum Gold or Spectrum Red, for blue, yellow and red lines.

Shrimp Pops
Push a stick into the substrate. The colony gathers on it, which makes them easier to watch.
- Probiotic, 10-pack: Digestive cultures to support feeding and moulting
- Purple, 10-pack: Antioxidants and colour ingredients for the shell
- Gold, 10-pack: For growth in breeding colonies
- Green, 10-pack and Red, 10-pack: Botanical blends with dietary fibre
- Combo, 15-pack: A mix of flavours
Pellets, sticks, powders and treats
- Shrimp Aid, 25 g or 50 g: Powder for shrimplets and juveniles. It spreads over the floor so small shrimp can reach it.
- Breeders Aid, 30 g: A more concentrated powder for shrimplets. Fine particles so babies in a breeding tank can reach it.
-
3-in-1 Starter Pack: A trial of Mineral Booster, Shrimp Snow, and Shrimp Aid.
- Shrimp Bits, 25 g or 50 g: Daily food with seafood and leafy greens.
- Breeders Bits, 30 g: A more concentrated daily food with greens, garlic, krill, and fish meal, for breeding colonies and colour.
- Shrimp Sticks, 25 g or 50 g: Pressed sticks that break down slowly on the substrate.
- Shrimp Bickies, 25 g or 50 g: A baked treat.
- Bottom Feeder Pellets, 25 g or 50 g: Sinking pellets for shrimp, crayfish, and bottom-dwelling catfish in the same tank.
Mineral Booster
A mineral treatment in 25 g or 50 g. It adds trace minerals used for the shell and is used to support moulting.
Water and system compatibility
Freshwater only. Made for Caridina and Neocaridina. Bottom Feeder Pellets can also be used with freshwater crayfish and bottom-dwelling catfish.
