Overview
The Pearl Danio is an elegant, highly underrated species that reveals its true beauty once settled into a home aquarium. Under standard pet shop lights they can look plain, but under quality aquarium lighting, their translucent bodies explode with an iridescent, pearlescent mother-of-pearl sheen flashing hues of violet, pink, and soft blue. They are highlighted by a subtle golden-orange stripe near the tail. They are a peaceful, tightly-schooling species that loves a good water flow, making them a beautiful, sophisticated choice for a community setup.
