Product overview
The Coral Essentials 50/100 ml liquid range is a set of reef supplements, made in Brisbane. Each bottle is a dropper. One drop is 0.05 ml. Dose from an ICP test, or start at 1 drop per 100 litres and adjust for the amount of coral you keep.
Key features
- 50 ml dropper bottles (some have a 100ml range too)
- 1 drop = 0.05 ml
Water and system compatibility
Marine/reef only. Coral Power FW Dip is a rinse used before a coral goes into the tank. It is not a display-tank dose.

Coral nutrition
- Coral Power Amino: Amino acids for tissue repair. 1 drop per 100 litres a day. Store in a cool, dark place, or in the fridge.
- Coral Power Gro: L-lysine and vitamins. 1 drop per 100 litres a day. Store in a cool, dark place, or in the fridge.
- Coral Power Bio Clean: Inorganic liquid clay that binds organic waste and particles, for use with a protein skimmer.
- Coral Power FW Dip: Rinse for corals before they are added to the tank.
Skeletal builders
- Coral Power Strontium: 50,000 ppm. Used with calcium. Target 8–10 ppm in the tank. 0.1 ml (2 drops) raises strontium by 0.05 ppm per 100 litres.
- Coral Power Potassium: Potassium chloride, 100,000 ppm. 0.1 ml (2 drops) raises potassium by 0.1 ppm per 100 litres. Used for red and pink colour.
- Coral Power Boron: For buffer capacity, pH, and the coral skeleton.
- Coral Power Fluoride: Sodium fluoride, 30,000 ppm. For zooxanthellae, calcification, and blue and violet colour.
Trace blends
1 drop per 100 litres a day. Store at room temperature.
- Trace A: Strontium at 50,000 ppm, plus barium.
- Trace B: Chelated iron at 100,000 ppm, plus zinc, copper, manganese, chromium, cobalt, and nickel.
- Trace C: Potassium iodide and sodium fluoride.
Single elements
1 drop per 100 litres a day, or dose to your ICP result. Store at room temperature. Match natural seawater levels.
- Iodine: Potassium iodide, 10,000 ppm. Used for blue and purple colour.
- Reef KI3: Iodine and potassium iodide. For soft corals, gorgonians, and macroalgae.
- Bromide: Sodium bromide, 50,000 ppm. Replaces bromide removed by skimming and ozone.
- Iron: For green colour and chlorophyll.
- Manganese: Listed for light stress and tissue loss (RTN/STN).
- Molybdenum: For bacteria that process nitrate, and for zooxanthellae.
- Cobalt: For vitamin B12 synthesis and tissue respiration.
- Lithium: Trace element for coral metabolism and colour.
- Rubidium: Trace element used alongside potassium.
- Nickel: For urease and nitrogen use in stony corals.
