The Tangerine Tiger Shrimp is an exceptionally popular wild-type variant from the Tiger Shrimp lineage, beloved for its translucent, glowing orange body and contrasting dark tiger stripes. Uniquely adaptable, the Tangerine Tiger is highly prized by hobbyists because it is significantly more robust and tolerant of varying water conditions than sensitive Bee shrimp. This hardy nature makes them an excellent "bridge" species for keepers stepping up from Neocaridina to Caridina, and they are frequently used by breeders to introduce fresh vigor and color depth into cross-bred hybrid colonies.
