Also known as the Indian Ocean Sailfin Tang, this species is a showstopper reaching a Max Size of 40 cm. It features a complex pattern of vertical bars and intricate spots that cover both its body and its massive dorsal and anal fins. When threatened or displaying, it can double its apparent size by flaring these fins, creating a spectacular silhouette. As they mature, their patterns become even more intricate. They are voracious algae eaters and will even consume bubble algae. Due to their massive size when fully grown, they require a very large aquarium.
