Aquaforest Carbon

Product overview

Aquaforest Carbon is steam-activated granular carbon for freshwater and marine tanks. It takes up dissolved organics, leftover medication, yellowing, and some heavy metals.

It is phosphate-free and is made not to shift pH. Use it in a fluidised reactor or in a high-flow part of the sump.

Water and system compatibility

• Water: Freshwater and marine, including reef tanks.
• System: Fluidised reactor or a bag in strong sump flow. Take carbon out while you are running a medication that needs to stay in the water.

Directions

Marine: 100 ml of carbon per 100 L. Freshwater: 100 ml per 200 L. Keep flow through the media at no more than 500 L/h. Replace every 4 weeks.
