Product overview
The Oase HeatUp series is an aquarium heater for stable water temperature. Rapid swings stall metabolism, weaken immunity, and can fade fish or coral colour. Cheap, poorly calibrated heaters make that worse.
It uses patented bimetal control and a double-insulated quartz glass tube. Use it as a fully submersible heater on the glass, or fit it in the heating chamber of an Oase BioMaster, FiltoSmart, or BioPlus filter so the heater is not in the display.

Bimetal control: Adjustable temperature, typically 18°C–32°C (HeatUp 400: 19°C–32°C).

Calibration dial: Manual correction of up to ±3°C if the scale drifts over time.

Quartz glass: Double-insulated tube that copes with temperature change and knocks better than ordinary glass.

Safety cut-out: Shuts off if the unit overheats or runs dry.

Indicator light: Shows when the element is heating.

Filter fit: Slides into the heater chamber on matching Oase canister and internal filters.
Water and system compatibility

Water: Freshwater planted tanks and marine/reef systems. Non-corrosive in both.

Livestock: Tropical freshwater fish, shrimp, plants, and SPS corals that need stable heat.

Mounting: Fully submersible. Vertical or horizontal on the glass with the included suction bracket.

Installation and care
Always follow directions on product packaging.

Water line: Submerge past the minimum-water mark before plugging in. Running it dry can crack the tube.

Cool-down: Unplug and leave the heater in the water for at least 15 minutes before handling it or doing a water change.

Drip loop: Sag the 1.5 m cord down before the wall outlet so drips cannot run into the socket.

FiltoSmart: If you fit the heater in a FiltoSmart, have the matching ThermoFit adapter before you assemble it.
