Product overview
Bioscape Tropic hang-on filters sit on the back rim of the tank. Both series use mechanical, chemical, and biological media, a surface skimmer, a clogging indicator, and an adjustable flow. They re-prime after a power cut.
The Easy Clean series has stackable trays that slide out. The Standard series is the higher-flow range, in an ABS housing.

Installation
- Check that the media is seated.
- Hang the filter on the back rim. Use the levelling knob so it sits upright against the glass.
- Fill the filter with treated water before you plug it in. Do not run the motor dry. A dry motor can overheat and damage the impeller.
- Make a drip loop in the power cord below the outlet.
- Plug it in and set the flow dial.
Always follow directions on product packaging.
