The Keyhole Angelfish gets its unique common name from the prominent white vertical blotch situated in the center of its dark chocolate to black body. Accented with subtle bright blue margins on its dorsal and anal fins, this dwarf angelfish offers a sophisticated look for home marine systems. They are active grazers that spend much of their day picking at microalgae across live rock formations, making plenty of mature rockwork essential for their well-being. While generally durable, they can show territoriality toward similar-sized fish and may nip at soft corals or clam mantles.
