Overview
The Bronze Corydoras is an unshakeable classic and a staple of local fish shops right across Australia. Featuring a robust, armor-plated body with a gorgeous, metallic greenish-bronze sheen that catches the light beautifully, these fish are the ultimate beginner bottom-dwellers. They are incredibly hardy, highly active, and spend their day playfully snuffling through the substrate looking for leftover food. Like all Corys, they are highly social and should always be kept in a group of 5 or more on a smooth sand substrate to protect their sensitive whiskers (barbels).
