Commonly known as the Adhesive Anemone or Pizza Anemone, this fascinating species is famous for its flat, disc-like appearance and incredibly sticky, multi-textured tentacles. The tentacles on the outer rim are shaped differently than those in the center, often displaying contrasting colors that give it a segmented, pizza-like aesthetic. Because of its intense, glove-like grip, this sand-dwelling scavenger can easily trap small fish or wandering invertebrates, meaning it requires a careful layout and is best paired specifically with hardy Clarkii or Tomato clownfish.
