Product overview
Tropical Malawi Chips are a plant-dominant daily food for East African cichlids, especially Lake Malawi mbuna. These fish graze aufwuchs on rocks and need a fibre-rich diet. High-protein foods can cause digestive problems, including Malawi bloat.
The tiny, slowly sinking chips use digestible vegetable proteins, including Spirulina platensis (min. 3.4%) and green pea (min. 4%). Chip size and texture suit a cichlid mouth and encourage natural chewing.
