The Tailspot Blenny is one of the smallest and most endearing blennies available, making it a favorite for nano-reef enthusiasts. It has a subtle tan to blue-grey body that provides the perfect backdrop for its namesake: a prominent dark spot at the base of the caudal fin. Its face is decorated with artistic blue and orange stripes right beneath the eyes, giving it a masked appearance. These fish are incredibly industrious, spending their days meticulously grazing on film algae across the rockwork and glass. Because of their small size and peaceful nature, they are best kept with other small, non-aggressive species where they can confidently explore the reef.
