It takes up ammonia and ammonium at the start of the nitrogen cycle, so less of that waste is left to become nitrate.

It also binds phenols, organic waste, and some heavy metals. The mix is processed so it does not strip potassium. Use it in a fluidised reactor or a filter bag.

Key features

Ammonia: Adsorbs ammonia and ammonium before they build in the water.

Organics: Takes up phenols, organic toxins, and trace metals.

Potassium: Made so it does not pull potassium out of the water.

Use: Fluidised reactor or filter bag.
